Last Month Armenians Violate Ceasefire For 36 Times

Last month Armenian armed forces violated ceasefire for 36 times on Armenia-Azerbaijan state border and Karabakh frontline. According to the monitoring conducted by APA on the basis of Azerbaijani Defense Ministry’s official reports, on April, Armenians intensified ceasefire violations in the south front – towards Khojavend, Fuzuli and Jabrayil regions of Azerbaijan.

On April, the most cases of violation of ceasefire were observed in Fuzuli region - 14 times, Terter – 6 times, Gazakh -5 and Aghdam - 4.

Besides, on April, the ceasefire was violated in Khojavend for 3 times, in Jabrayil – 2 times, in Goranboy – 2 times.

3 servicemen of the Azerbaijani Army (2 in Khojavend, 1 in Fuzuli) were wounded as a result of violation of ceasefire.

In January-April 2011, the Armenian armed forces violated ceasefire in the frontline for 196 times (24 times in January, 56 in February, 80 in March, 36 in April). In general, 6 servicemen of the Azerbaijani Army, 1 civilian (a child), were killed, 4 were wounded. Two civilians hit a mine near front line. One of them was wounded, the other one died.
