Azerbaijani MPs Urge Anti-Terror Coalition To Condemn Armenian Terrorism

Azerbaijani parliamentarians urge the world community to show the same attitude to all terrorists and terrorist organizations.

“Azerbaijan has always condemned terrorism and made its input to fight against global terrorism,” Azerbaijani MP Zahid Oruj said at the plenary session of the Parliament while commenting on death of world’s most wanted terrorist Osama bin Laden.

“Interestingly, why some forces, who urge the whole world to have the same attitude to terrorism, refuse to do the same towards the Armenian terrorist organizations who have chosen Azerbaijan their target?

“We all are aware of the operation the U.S. conducted in another continent to kill bin Laden. I wonder, do other countries have the right to conduct similar operation in other continents?” the MP asked.

“Everyone agrees that terrorism must be condemned. But occupation of lands is more serious crime than a terrorist attack. We can not put terrorism above occupation of lands. We have a right to expect the anti-terrorism coalition to show the attitude towards bin Laden to terrorist organizations, too,” Oruj added.

“How can terrorists run the whole state while one terrorist is killed? Azerbaijan has been a victim of terrorist attacks by Armenian government numerous times,” the MP Sahib Aliyev said in his turn.
