Edward Nalbandian Left For Washington

On May 18 Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian had a meeting with members of the French Senate and National Assembly.

During the meeting the parties hailed the friendly relations between Armenia and France, the close cooperation established between the Parliaments of the two countries, the activity of Parliamentary Friendship Groups.

Edward Nalbandian presented to French parliamentarians the steps taken in the direction of development of Armenian-French ties, the priorities of Armenia’s foreign policy, the efforts towards settlement of regional issues.

Edward Nalbandian left Paris for Washington, where he will have meetings with Secretary of State Hilary Clinton and other high-ranking officials.

Minister Nalbandian will deliver a speech at the Brookings Political Center.

The Foreign Minister is expected to meet representatives of American Armenian organizations.

On May 20 Edward Nalbandian will attend an event in New York honoring Charles Aznavour.
