“Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is a person, who knows very well the Azerbaijani people, Azerbaijan’s culture, everything about Azerbaijan. He always respects Azerbaijan,” Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic said when asked why Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu did not react to the presentation of “Sari gelin” as an Armenian song at the Sheffaf oda program on Kanal D channel.

Ambassador said probably Ahmet Davutoglu did not pay attention to the presentation of “Sari gelin” as an Armenian song. “”Sari gelin” is a Turkic song. The whole world knows it. It will always remain as a Turkic song,” he said.

Sheffaf oda program hosted Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on May 22. The presenter said: “Let’s recall Armenians once more, listen to “Sari gelin”. Minister said smiling “With pleasure”.

Turkish Foreign Minister joined the singer crooning the song.
