E-mail Print PDF

Education officials from Turkey and Azerbaijan are expected to visit Armenia later this year to attend discussions devoted to Armenia's integration to the Bologna Process on European Higher Education Area. Between July 1 and December 31, 2011 Armenia and Poland are set to co-chair the Bologna process. In that connection, the Armenian Ministry of Education and Science is planning to launch a series of discussions devoted to the issue. An international summer school scheduled for July 3-10 will bring together students from Armenia and member states to the Bologna Declaration to enable them to discuss a range of key issues related to the process.

On September 8-9, it is planned to organize an international conference devoted to the funding of higher education. Minister of Education Armen Ashotyan has sent invitations to the higher education officials from Bologna Declaration Member states. The participants will establish a discussion platform to exchange views on education funding mechanisms, and their impact on quality, equality and effectiveness criteria.
