President of the International Association of Prosecutors James Hamilton met with Chairman of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan Ramiz Rzayev.
Press service of the Supreme Court reported that Ramiz Rzayev informed the guest about the work and structure of the court and said Azerbaijan works together with the countries with developed legal systems through the bilateral cooperation and international organizations.
The Chairman of the Supreme Court said that Azerbaijan had lowest rate of crimes among the CIS countries.
'The occupation of 20 percent of the Azerbaijani lands by Armenia necessitates the work of military courts'.
President of the International Association of Prosecutors James Hamilton noted that Prosecutor General Office and Military Prosecutor Office of Azerbaijan joined the Association in 1998.
