“Armenia’s government has responsibility for the illegal settlement process it conducted in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan because after liberation of the lands the fate of these people will be uncertain”, spokesman for the Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Elkhan Polukhov told APA.
He said the OSCE Minsk Group assessment mission confirmed the fact of illegal settlements in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan last year. “Armenia not only occupies the Azerbaijani lands and violates the international law, but it also pursues the policy of illegal settlement in the occupied territories”.
