Armenia’s “National Hero”, military leader Andranik Ozanyan’s monument opened on May 28 in Sochi, Russia. On the other hand, it is reported that Russian authorities have already ordered to removal of monument to avoid Turkey’s reaction.
The order for the removal of the monument for Andranik, who is known in Turkey and Azerbaijan as “Murderer of Turks”, is considered as Russian authorities’ precaution against Turkey’s rejection of cooperating for the construction of the olimpic facilities in Sochi.
The author of the monument is sculptor Marat Minasyan, Armenia based News.am reported. Official opening was made on Saturday, on Armenia’s Republic day.
