The delegation led by Mark Field, head of UK-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group, which is on a visit to Azerbaijan by the organizing of The European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS), has visited the Alley of Honors and Martyrs’ Alley.
According to APA, the delegation firstly visited Heydar Aliyev’s grave in Alley of Honors, laid a wreath on his monument. Thereafter visiting the Martyrs’ Alley UK parliamentarians have visited the Eternal Torch Complex and monument of English soldiers in Highland Park, who were killed in 1918, Baku.
M. Field noted that, Azerbaijan’s economic development proved its successful future.

He also noted that, they met the living conditions of Internally displaced person, also visited the settlements in front line: “We can’t promise about solution of the conflict. We saw the feeling a loss of displaced persons. We were informed that, UN 4 resolutions on liberation of occupied territories have not been implemented for 19 years. We’ll research the solution of this problem”.
Head of delegation noted that, he would share the situation in Azerbaijan, in UK parliament. He also stressed that, new delegation from UK parliament would visit Azerbaijan, in the near future.
Head of Friendship Group was grateful for monument of UK soldiers in Baku.
Note that, 6-person delegation led by M. Field visited Baku on May 26. The delegation will visit Guba, today.
