E-mail Print PDF

The OSCE Minsk Group mediating the Karabakh conflict settlement is close to success, the Armenian prime minister has said.

Tigran Sargsyan who is now attending the Vienna-hosted World Economic Forum on Europe and Central Asia made the statement yesterday, speaking at a session titled Insight into Russia.

He said the recent statement adopted by the US, French and Russian co-chairs of the Minsk Group signals positive developments. Sargsyan added that Armenia is committed to demonstrate a political will to achieve an agreement in a speedy manner.

'From our angle, there are all the objective prerequisites for that. It is necessary for our Azerbaijani partners to demonstrate a political will to sign an agreement that would serve as a basis for future talks,' he said.
