Iran Backs Azerbaijan's Territorial Integrity – Larijani

The Iranian foreign minister who is now in Baku on an official visit has said world superpowers are not interested in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. "Big superpowers pursue their interests in conflicts," the Azerbaijani news website quoted Ali Larijani as saying.

"Though it's already many years the Minsk Group has been dealing with the issue, it has not attained any result so far. Iran does recognize and protect Azerbaijan's territorial integrity," he said, stressed the importance of settling the Nagorno Karabakh conflict in the regional format.
