President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev congratulated U.S. president Barack Obama on the occasion of U.S. Independence Day.
Aliyev’s message, in addition to heart greetings, said that Azerbaijan highly values the interest of the United States in peace and stability in our region.
"We are hopeful that the efforts of your country as co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group and your personal efforts to ensure just resolution of Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh which led to violation of territorial integrity of our country, occupation of our land and expulsion of our fellow citizens from their homes, will soon give visible results," reads the message of President of Azerbaijan.
