Skpye Shows Nagorno-Karabakh As A Part of Armenia

E-mail Print PDF

Skype goes on viewing Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Armenia, the Poland-based Biuletyn Informacyjny Studium (BIS) reports.

Nagorno-Karabakh is included in the price list for Armenia. The source reports that Armenian mobile operators are rendering communication services only inside Armenia, while they render roaming services in Nagorno-Karabakh. Moreover, Nagorno-Karabakh has its own mobile operator, Karabakh Telecom.

Both Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh use the same international code, +374, which most probably accounts for Nagorno-Karabakh being represented in Armenia's virtual space, BIS reports.

Interestingly, Abkhazia and South Ossetia are not viewed as part of Russia though they use the same international code, +7.
