E-mail Print PDF

Prior to his visit to Baku, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent a strong message to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

Erdogan responded to Sargsyn’s 'occupation' remarks in his interview with Azerbaijan’s Khazar TV channel, haberler.com reports.

Erdogan said Armenian leader’s remarks show he has no peace intentions. 'This approach by Armenia showed official stand of it this state and that it does not want to reach peace.'

Noting that there are pressures from outside to open borders with Armenia, the Prime Minister expressed his position on this issue.

'First resolve the issue with Azerbaijan, we will open the borders,' Erdogan noted.
