“Actually, I did not expect anything else from Sargsyan. I have met with him several times. I know his way of thinking very well,” Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev said while commenting on Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s message to the Armenian youth “We liberated Nagorno Karabakh from the enemy, it is up to you to liberate Agri Dagh”, APA reported.
At the joint press conference with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President Ilham Aliyev said actually it shows the aggressive essence of Armenia.
“This country is full of problems. Tens of thousands of people leave the country. The country’s economy is in crisis – poverty, misery, despair. There is not a good facility in the country, but for the foreign endowments, foreign patronage this country will collapse. In this situation, with 1.8 million real population, they make claims for historical territories of Turkey. They consider that they have solved Nagorno Karabakh problem. They are mistaken. Nagorno Karabakh is Azerbaijan’s territory, remains as Azerbaijan’s land. The day will come when Azerbaijan will restore its sovereignty over Nagorno Karabakh either peacefully, or in a military way.
Making territorial claims against such a great country like Turkey? This simply shows that they have mental problems. They do not live in the real world, they live in the world of illusions. Let them wake up, return to the real world and at least compare themselves with Turkey. One can not compare an elephant with an ant,” he said.
