E-mail Print PDF

Armenian community of America has started a campaign against the U.S.

Ambassador to Turkey nominee Francis Ricciardone. Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) reported that on August 2nd, U.S. Ambassador to Turkey nominee Francis Ricciardone will appear before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee for his confirmation hearing. Amb. Ricciardone was sent to Turkey earlier this year through a recess appointment by President Obama.

ANCA calls Senators to ask deep and probing questions of Mr. Ricciardone regarding U.S. - Turkey policy and, specifically, U.S. policy on the Armenian Genocide.

Armenian community in the US and pro-Armenian senators are also attempting to impede the confirmation of the U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mathew Bryza and U.S. Ambassador to Armenia nominee John Heffern.
