“Armenian leadership doesn’t intend to curtain its dirty, illegal actions and intentions with any diplomatic rhetoric and this statement unmasks their unmoral face.
Unfortunately, international community doesn’t react to Serzh Sargsyan’s aggressive and provocative statements, which instigate to new invasions”, said spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elkhan Polukhov, commenting on Sargsyan’s latest statement where he entrusted future generations to seize Agri Dagh, APA reported.
“Avoiding reaction to the statement made by the invader country’s leader, the international community allows Sargsyan to be confident in his impunity. Today, Armenian president takes part in the talks toward ending the occupation of the Azerbaijani lands, but at the same time, not eliminating the results of this aggression, he instigate the young people of his country to new aggressions. Sargsyan wrecks efforts made by the co-chair countries, which are mediating in the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno Karabakh conflict. He shows disrespect for the norms and principles of the international law”, said the diplomat.
Polukhov said if the international community keeps silent about such disrespect for the mankind principles, it challenges the effect of its peace efforts for the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Next day after the Sargsyan’s statement, Armenian sniper wounded 24-year-old Azerbaijani woman Poladova Rahiba Firudin in Mazam village of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh region. This action is the result of Sargsyan’s recommendations, which provoke to atrocities against the civilians, children and women”.
