Turkey and Armenia have no diplomatic and trade relations, said Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic, APA reported.

Answering the question about the statistics released by some organizations that there are $250-million annual trade turnover between Turkey and Armenia, the ambassador compared the sale of Turkish products in the Armenian market with the sale of products of various countries in the Azerbaijani market.

“We see the products from various countries in the Azerbaijani market. It should be approached from the different views. There are no official trade relations between Turkey and Armenia, but the products can reach the Armenian market via the third country”, Kilic added.

Ambassador said his country was working for “zero problem” with the neighbors and said Ankara had clear position on the solution of Nagorno Karabakh problem.

Ambassador made comments on the latest statement by the Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan. “Everyone can raise claims. But we have to see the conclusion. Our Prime Minister responded it. I don’t want to reply the Armenian president. We don’t take his words seriously”.

Kilic said Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan didn’t meet with the representatives of the Azerbaijani political parties and NGOs because of heavy schedule of his visit. “During the next visit he may meet with the civil society organizations”.
