Armenians Continue To Destroy Historical Heritage Of Azerbaijani People

Armenians continue to destroy unique cultural and historical heritage of people of Azerbaijan in the occupied Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan.

Head of the department for design, restoration and examination of cultural heritage at Culture and Tourism Ministry of Azerbaijan Fazil Mammadov said Azerbaijan has repeatedly raised this well-known fact in international events.

'However, international organizations, seemingly interested in preservation of cultural and historical heritage in territory of any country, show open indifference. They claim representatives of Azerbaijan, as an interested party, are trying to politicize the issue.

International experts who visited Nagorno-Karabakh and saw the fruits of Armenian barbarism, must give due assessment of these actions. In addition, experts are armed with modern information and communication technologies. And so, have information about everything that is happening in Nagorno-Karabakh,' the ministry official noted.

Armenians have destroyed many unique cultural and historical sites that are relevant to the Islamic religion. Sites of cultural and historical heritage of Caucasian Albania are subject to falsification in Nagorno-Karabakh under the guise of restoration. And even some Armenian experts oppose this falsification, Mammadov added.

'One can make only one conclusion in this case - international experts are guided by double standards. Despite this, leadership of our country, public and youth organizations will continue to work to give the international community truthful information about barbarism and vandalism of the Armenian occupying forces,' Mammadov said.
