“The Armenian government should realize how negative the isolation and dependence on a neighbor is. This should make the government put in order Nagorno Karabakh conflict and the relations with Turkey,” ex-president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan said in his interview to A1+ TV channel.

Speaking about the influence of Russia-Georgia war and tense Moscow-Tbilisi relations on Armenia, Ter-Petrosyan admitted that the war that happened three years ago showed how much Armenia’s economy is vulnerable.

“All this should make the Armenian government take seriously this bitter truth,” he said.

Ex-president considers that small countries like Armenia should give up the policy of relying on the third force. Otherwise, this adventure will cost Armenia dear,” he said.
