Google has again cast doubt on Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity. APA reports that in the satellite images posted on the Google Maps the occupied Azerbaijani territories are shown with Armenian names.
Though the names of most occupied regions were given properly in the Google maps in the previous years, it is not observed in the updated variant for 2011.
Fuzuli region is shown as – Varanda, Zangilan-Kovsakan, Kalbajar – Karvachar, Aghdam – Akna, Gubadli – Sanasar, center of Lachin region – Berdzor, Jabrayil – Jrakan in www.maps.google.com. Khankendi located in Nagorno Karabakh is shown as Stepanakert, Agdere – Mardakert, Khojavend – Martuni.
The maps service also shows the occupied Azerbaijani villages as named by Armenians after the occupation.
