'Iran’s Role In Karabakh Issue To Benefit Armenia'

Iran may play a role in Karabakh settlement, expert says.

The head of the Scientific-Organizational Department of the Yerevan State University (YSU), Candidate of Historical Sciences Alik Gabrielyan said that Iran may play a role in the Karabakh settlement.

According to the expert, 'Iran’s role in Karabakh issue will benefit Armenia'.

'The West is trying to increase the influence of Iran. Changes in policy regarding Iran may influence Armenia as well, since Iran plays a role in the Karabakh issue. Azerbaijan understands it very well,' he said.

Talking about the Iranian-Azerbaijani relations, Alik Gabrielyan said that Iran will continue to use the Islamic factor to influence Azerbaijan, and they realize it very well both in the West and in Russia.
