The relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt strained after Egypt showed Nakhichevan as Armenian land. Azerbaijan gets prepared to send an official protest note to Egypt.

Azerbaijan will send an official protest note to Egypt over thebroadcast of a map that shows Nakhichevan within the borders of Armenia.

Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Egypt, Faik Bagirov stated that protest note will be delivered to Foreign Ministry, Ministry of Information and Technologyof Egypt. Bagirov said that they will send the same protest note also to the website which had broadcasted the map.

One of the well-known web sites in Arabian world, Moheet broadcasted a map showing Nakhichevan and Nagorno-Karabakh as Armenian land.
