Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby discussed Turkey-Armenia relations' normalization on Oct. 28.

The officials touched upon regional issues as well as the Turkey-Armenia rapprochement.

Semneby said that EU welcomes the progress in reconciliation process and is ready to assist normalization of relations between the two states.

The Armenian president and EU official exchanged opinions on Turkey-Armenia protocols, noting that the accord should be reached without preconditions and within reasonable time.
